Red Cabbage recently received funding from the Australia-Thai Institute (Dept Foreign Affairs and Trade) to collaborate with Thai Theatre Company B-Floor, and Australian performer Anna Voronoff. Red Cabbage members travelled to Bangkok where they spent a month working with B-Floor and local students and performers. The trip culminated in a showing of a short journey show, which delighted the local arts audiences.
Aviary was performed at the Living Museum of the West in 2006 as part of the Masters program of Cabbage Louise Morris. Members of Red Cabbage, the VCA Animateuring course and associated artists performed in a two week season of this beautiful and unsettling visual theatre work.
Hedge-Mony was a project by Red Cabbage as part of the 2006 Next Wave Festival, and also featured as part of the Youth Program for the Melbourne Festival 2006, the Arts Festival in conjuction with the Melbourne Commonwealth Games.
Hedge-Mony featured over 300 performers and crew and was performed to over 1,000 audience members.
